Reporting an error

Corrections are welcome and are the reason every line carries a citation. If you believe a reading is wrong, please say which page it is on and which sheet, line or microfilm frame it cites, and what you read instead. That is enough to find the image and settle it.

The same applies to a photograph: give the plate and what you believe is mistaken about the identification, the date or the credit.
