The gun Charleston left behind

The 10-inch columbiad abandoned at Battery Gregg had been dismounted by the Federals and rolled over onto the parapet, where it lay. Battery Wagner was being enlarged, with heavy parapets thrown up facing north and west — toward the city that had built it.
